About GoodShift

What is GoodShift?

GoodShift is a software company in Cairo. We build two products: Climo, a clinic-management app for small clinics, and the GoodShift app, a marketplace where a Business or a Client posts work and a Shift Champ does it. The poster pays the Champ directly, not through GoodShift. GoodShift earns by selling posting credits, a 30-day pass, boosts and an Urgent badge to posters, and a one-time activation to Champs.

When do the products launch?

Climo launches in October 2026 on iPhone and iPad. The GoodShift app launches in December 2026 on the App Store and Google Play; its web app is already open for early access at app.goodshift.work.

How do I reach you?

Email support@goodshift.work. We answer in English and Arabic, usually within two working days. Please never send a patient's medical details or your own identity document by email.

Climo

Who is Climo for?

Small clinics run by one practitioner or a small team: dental, nutrition, aesthetic, cosmetic, dermatology and similar. The doctor runs the clinic from the app; the doctor's patients get their own side of the same app.

Is Climo a medical device?

No. Climo stores records, bookings, a catalogue and payment records. It gives no diagnosis and no treatment advice; every clinical decision stays with the practitioner.

Who holds my records as a patient?

Your clinic does, as the data controller. GoodShift stores them on the clinic's instructions and never reads them. For a question about your records, contact your clinic first; the Privacy Policy explains your rights.

How does the free trial work?

It lasts 14 days from the moment your clinic setup is complete. After it, a subscription billed through your Apple ID. If you stop subscribing, your records stay readable and your receipts exportable as PDF; only adding new things pauses.

How do I cancel my subscription?

In your iPhone's Settings: your name → Subscriptions → Climo. Deleting your Climo account does not cancel an Apple subscription.

How do I delete my Climo account?

In the app: Profile → Settings → Delete account. Deletion is scheduled 30 days ahead, and signing back in before then restores everything.

The GoodShift app: getting started

How does the GoodShift app work?

A Business posts a Shift, or an individual Client posts a Mission, and states the pay and how and when they will pay it. Shift Champs apply, and the poster chooses one. The work is started and finished with a QR scan. The poster then pays the Champ directly — in cash, by bank transfer or by mobile money — and the Champ records in the app whether the pay arrived. GoodShift never holds or moves that money.

Who can use it?

Anyone aged 18 or over with a verified mobile number. One account can hold both roles, posting and working, and you switch between them from your profile.

What do I need before my first application or posting?

A Shift Champ completes their profile, submits identity documents for review, and buys the one-time activation through the App Store or Google Play, which is the last step before applying. The activation is paid once and shows you are committed; it never buys a higher place in the list, a better ranking or "verified" status. A poster completes a business profile, signs the agreement and submits documents. Submitting is enough to start; a pending review does not block you. There is no payment method or bank account to add, because no shift money passes through GoodShift.

For Shift Champs

How do I get paid?

Directly by the poster, on the pay terms shown on the shift — the method (cash, bank transfer or mobile money) and the timing the poster declared. After you scan the poster's code at the end of the work, the app asks whether you received the amount. You answer Paid or Not paid yet. That answer is your own record; GoodShift does not collect or send the money.

What is a strike?

A strike is recorded when you are chosen for work and do not show up without notice, once the poster's report is upheld. Cancelling work you were chosen for can also count. Three strikes close the account. Your current count is always visible in your profile.

What if I can't make it?

Tell the poster in the in-app chat as early as you can. Emergencies happen; not showing up without any notice counts as a no-show.

Can a poster leave me an unfair review?

Reviews must be honest and based on the actual work. If you believe one breaks the Community Guidelines, write to support@goodshift.work and we will look into it.

For Businesses and Clients

How do I post work?

Tap Post, choose Quick Mission or Long Shift, describe the work, the place, the date, the pay and your pay terms, then publish. Publishing uses one posting credit for each date, unless your 30-day pass is running. Champs near you see it right away.

How do I pay a Champ?

Directly, after the work, as you declared on the posting — by the method and at the time you stated. You pay the Champ yourself; the money does not go through GoodShift. After the end scan the Champ records whether they received it, and those answers make up your "Pays on time" figure.

Can I cancel after posting?

Yes, and cancelling costs you nothing. If you cancel a date nobody applied to, its credit comes back to you at once. If someone already applied, the credit for that date stays used. Cancelling after you have chosen a Champ is recorded on your reliability record, and the Champ is told right away.

What if the Champ doesn't show up?

Report it in the app. Once your report is upheld, the Champ's account takes a strike. No money comes back to you, because you pay the Champ only after the work and no shift money went through GoodShift. The credit for that date was used when a Champ applied, so it does not come back; you can post the work again.

Does GoodShift take a cut?

No. GoodShift takes nothing from the pay between you and the Champ. We sell only these, through the App Store or Google Play: • Posting credits. One credit publishes one posting for one date. Buy one at a time or in packs; a new account starts with a few free ones. A credit comes back if nobody applies to that date within 7 days of publishing, or before the date passes, whichever comes first. A returned credit is not a refund; it is simply yours to use again. • A 30-day pass. Publish as many postings as you like for 30 days. It does not renew by itself; when it ends you are back on credits. • A 7-day boost. Puts one posting higher in Champs' lists for 7 days. • An Urgent badge. Marks one posting as urgent so Champs see it needs someone soon. • A one-time activation for Champs. Paid once, as the last step before applying. It never buys placement, ranking, trust or "verified" status. Boosts and the Urgent badge are optional and change nothing about the pay or the work. Prices are shown in the app, in your local currency.

Paying and purchases

What if I wasn't paid?

Answer Not paid yet after the scan, and talk to the poster in the in-app chat. From day 3 after the work you can tap Report unpaid. An unpaid report counts on the poster's "Pays on time" figure and on their strike record. GoodShift records what you report; it does not collect the money for you and does not decide who is right about it.

Can I get a refund for a purchase?

Credits, the pass, boosts, the Urgent badge and the activation are sold by Apple or Google through their stores, so refunds of these store purchases follow the store's own refund policy. Ask Apple or Google directly. A credit that comes back because nobody applied is not a refund; it returns to your balance for another posting.

What if there's a problem with a shift?

Tap Report a problem on the shift. It opens a support conversation with our team, from either side. We can act on conduct — a warning, a strike or a restriction — but we do not decide who owes whom money, because that money never passes through GoodShift.

Account and safety

Who sees my identity documents?

Only GoodShift's reviewers. Others see a verification status, never the document. Your phone number is never shown on your public profile either.

What is the safety card?

While work is running, you can share a link with someone you trust showing who you are with, where and when. It stops working when the work ends. Sharing your live location on it is optional and off every time.

What does the SOS control do?

It dials the local emergency number from your own phone, and nothing else. Nobody at GoodShift is notified, so call for help directly when you need it.

How do I delete my GoodShift account?

Profile → Settings → Delete account. Deletion never waits on money, because none is owed through GoodShift. Your personal data is erased within 30 days. Records of unpaid reports and your reliability history are kept, so deleting an account cannot wipe them.
